June 14, 2008:
One of the safety requirements of flying the Air Tractor Bulk Fuel Hauling plane is wearing special flame retardant clothing, and a special helmet normally only worn by members of the Airforce.
I had the privilege of sitting in the cockpit of the Air Tractor and wearing the helmet ... like a cool fighter pilot chick!!
Maybe ... okay so that opinion is reserved solely for me but that's ok - it felt cool at the time!!
